Welcome to Veritas

By |September 13th, 2013|

I have joined Veritas, an internationally recognised internationally recognised language and translation company, already well known through the inspiring media coverage of their engaging MD Sharon Stephens. My love of travel, culture and language began on a gap year working in a French bar on the Côte d’Azur. A degree in Anthropology, the study of other cultures, soon followed, and being surrounded by a family of language teachers, has inspired a love of language and anything ‘other’.

This was followed by three years spent as a Postgraduate on a research training programme and a variety of project management roles. Working […]

Lucy’s week at Veritas

By |June 20th, 2011|

Hello, my name is Lucy and I’m a postgraduate student of Interpreting and Translating. This week I have been fortunate to spend a week with Veritas. Reaching the end of my MA course, I’ve been thinking about what I’d like to do next with my language skills, and was keen to find out about the workings of a translation and interpreting agency.

The week with Veritas has given me an invaluable insight into all different aspects of translation and interpretation from an agency’s point of view, and also introduced me to many other language services I had not previously considered, such […]
